My last visit for the month of September was with the Whitepine Lions Club of Deary Idaho. This club was established in 1974 and currently has 13 members. There were three charter members in attendance last night and for you that are counting,  that's over 40 years of service to their communities.

We met at their community center and I found out they had donated the land to the city so they could build this beautiful building. Deary is a beautiful small town, the people are friendly, and you can tell they are proud of where they live.

This lions club like many others are involved in many projects, and just finished Deary Days. They also provide school scholarships, help out with a sponsored bike ride, have a Turkey raffle, and last night donated $100 to Leader Dogs.
Just wanted to say thanks for making myself, wife, and Melissa Smith(zone chair for 7) feel welcome.
 Keep up the good work!
