Wow, what a busy day!

After a noon meeting with the Cle Elum Mountain Club, I had the opportunity to have dinner and do a quick Governor visit with my home club, the Selah Valley Lions Club.
Selah just finished helping out with National Night out cooking hotdogs, serving chips and soda. People were lined up in anticipation of those dogs cooked by bbq master Lion Mike!
The Selah Lions had almost all their members show up to help and they had a new potential member who came and helped the rest of us serve until 8pm.
Selah provides many service projects for their community, Base Race, Glow Run, Wenas Cleanup, Specials Bowling, Staging the Community Days parade and the Homecoming Parade,  and the Selah Christmas parade just to name a few.
After my visitation with the club we were invited by Lion Tammy Allan who owns TE Allan Inc. to come swim, after she rented the new Selah Aquatic Center for the evening and invited the community to come and enjoy the new facility for free.
To say I'm proud of the Selah Club would be a understatement! Here's a big Lion Roar out to you all!
