I had the a great time visiting the Naches Sunshine Lions Club with my wife Tammy last night.
This is a all women's club, with 18 members who believe in service to their community and neighbors. During the meeting the President ask each member to speak on how each member had provided a service to others since the last meeting... there were some amazing comments.
This group of ladies provides the following service's to Naches; sight and hearing services at the school, Sportsman Day dime toss, Turkey bingo which raises money for projects, but also gets a lot of turkeys and chickens out to families.
I also has the opportunity to sample some amazing lemon bars and cookies after the meeting was over!
