Today I visited the Harrington Lions Club. I arrived a couple of hours early, so I could explore the town and meet some of the community members.
Harrington is another small farming community and the population is around 500. I enjoyed seeing the older buildings and what they were being used for... I even saw a working telephone booth, ask your kids if they know what it is.
The Lions of Harrington have a membership of 33, and from what I can tell they are all pretty involved.
This club does a lot of visitations to other Lions Clubs, is involved in many community activities, and I enjoyed getting to know them.
