Visited the Benton City Lions Club yesterday evening with my wife Tammy, Zone Chair Sam Clayton and his wife Karen.

This club was founded in 1971 and currently has 21 members. I was told they are involved with many community projects... Community Easter Egg show, 4th of July fireworks,  carshow, Christmas party with the American Legion,  just to name a few. They are currently scheduled on November 7th for Vision Day at the school, and should test almost 700 students for sight and hearing. They are also working on a project with other agencies to try and build a wheelchair ramp for a lady who  desperately needs one for her home.
I wanted to thank this club for giving me the opportunity to meet with you,  a wonderful bbq & potluck dinner, and great fellowship.
